Eleni Sofocleous joined InterTaxAudit in January 2020. She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and she is a holder of a BSc with First Class Honours in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southampton (UK). During her studies she was awarded with the UK Inland Revenue Tax Prize. She has more than 18 years of tax experience in a big-4 accounting firm. She has extensive exposure to international multinational companies, including structuring of conglomerate international groups, consisting mainly of high-profile transportation and logistics groups, shipping groups and oil & gas groups, and leading due diligence projects of M&A.

In her previous position, she has played an instrumental role in the establishment and growth of the tax department where she was leading a significant portfolio.  Eleni is also well experienced presenter and has attended various conferences and workshops (both in Cyprus and abroad). She has presented numerous open and in-house seminars concerning taxation, with emphasis in Advanced International Structuring and Tax for Shipping, as well as development of soft skills and leading teams courses. Eleni is a member of the Shipping Committee of The Institute of Certified Chartered Accountants (ICPAC).
