Dr. Anna Plevri achieved a law degree from the Aristoteleon University in Thessaloniki. She then went on to achieve two Masters Degrees, one from Aristoteleon University with a specialism in Civil Procedure and another from the University of Thrakis with a specialism in international relations, law and arbitration (amongst others). Dr. Plevri then went on to achieve a PHD titled «Μη δικαιούχοι και μη υπόχρεοι διάδικοι στην πολιτική δίκη». Dr. Plevris is also a qualified lawyer in both Cyprus and in Greece. Anna is a member of the Thessaloniki Bar Association and speclializes in tort, commercial, civil, banking, family (amongst others) and regularly undertakes arbitration proceedings and mediation proceedings in practice. In Cyprus, Anna is a member of the Nicosia Bar Association and is a member of the ADR committee of the Cyprus Bar Association.

Dr Plevris, is also a highly regarded academic in her own right. Anna teaches civil procedure law at the University of Nicosia and is the Director of the Civil Procedure Committee of the Association. Dr. Plevris is also a teaches civil procedure at the National School of Judges. In the past Dr. Plevris has acted as a visiting lecturer at the University of West Macedonia on the Masters degree for HR, communication and leadership. Anna has also acted as a visiting lecturer at the International Hellenic University teaching on the LLM titled Transnational and European Commercial Law, Banking Law Arbitration/Mediation".

Dr. Plevris is also a certified trainer in the field of mediation and arbitration in the areas of tort, commercial, family, employment, banking and land disputes. Dr. Anna is also a licensed arbitrator. Anna regularly undertakes, aside from her exceptional academic career, training of lawyers, judges and vocational training courses that she leads and organises. in fact, Anna has recently taught a 10 hour seminar relating to the Regulation 111/2019 regarding enforcement and recognition of family law judgements, the Hague Convention and International Family Mediation, alongside Dr. Leivadopoulou.

Alongside her stellar training/academic and legal career, Anna regularly publishes books. In 2018 she published a book titled: «Διαιτησία στον τομέα της Ενέργειας- Ελληνικό και Ευρωπαϊκό θεσμικό πλαίσιο», Εκδόσεις Σάκκουλα (Αθήνα-Θεσσαλονίκη, 2018) and «Μη δικαιούχοι και μη υπόχρεοι διάδικοι στην πολιτική δίκη», Εκδόσεις Σάκκουλα (Αθήνα-Θεσσαλονίκη, 2014). Anna has also contributed to a plethora of other publications including the book: “Διαμεσολάβηση σε αστικές και εμπορικές υποθέσεις, Ερμηνεία κατ’ άρθρο. Άρθρων 1-31 του ν.4640/2019 και των περί εξώδικης επίλυσης της διαφοράς άρθρων του ΚΠολΔ”, Εκδόσεις Σάκκουλα (Αθήνα-Θεσσαλονίκη). Anna also regularly contributes to published articles and published her own penned articles regularly, where she remains a well respected voice in the field of mediation, arbitration and civil procedure in both Greece and Cyprus.
