Ms. Anthi Charalambous is a Chemical Engineer, graduated from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), with an MSc in Environmental Engineering, holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Renewable Energy & Energy Management. 

At the beginning of her career (1997) she worked abroad in environmental projects, environmental impact assessment studies, in the management and treatment of liquid and solid waste. In 2001 he started working in the energy sector, in important organizations in Cyprus and abroad such as the Cyprus Institute of Energy, the Permanent Representation of Cyprus to the EU in Brussels, the European Commission in the Directorate-General for Energy. In the period 2009 to 2016, she was appointed Director of the Cyprus Energy Agency. From October 2016 to January 2022, she joined the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB), as Director of the Department of Energy & Environment. 

Today she has founded an environmental non profit company thw KyklOIKOdromio and she is the director of the consulting company ideopsis Ltd. During her professional career she has organized dozens of skills development workshops on various environmental / energy issues. She also participates in the ISO / TC 323 for circular economy and CYS / MC 14.3 Sustainable & Resilient Cities, CYS / MC 15.01 Circular Economy, CYS / MC 15.04 Environmental Advisory Bodies (IEC ACEA, CEN-CLC SABE). In 2021 he was appointed to the European Industry Advisory Forum. In 2022 she has been elected Chair of the International Solar Energy Organization (Cyprus), for a three-year term.
