Mr. Constantinos Clerides is a Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln's Inn. His area of expertise is Cyprus litigation having passed the bar in England and Cyprus. Constantinos has an LLM in International Business and Commercial Law from King’s College London. Constantinos has undertaken litigation in many complex areas including, international and domestic commercial disputes, including agency and distribution agreements, complex corporate disputes, jurisdictional disputes.

Constantinos also has a wealth of experience in corporate litigation, representing clients in company winding up and liquidation proceedings and disputes arising between shareholders. Constantinos has also handled many cases involving personal injury, medical negligence, libel and defamation. Outside of the courtroom, he advises clients on corporate formation and shareholder agreements, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder disputes and partnerships, banking and finance laws and regulations, compliance laws, trusts and investor protection.

In addition, Constantinos is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and regularly speaks at law events. Most recently he was one of the headline speakers in Geneve for the Cyprus Investments and Companies framework. Constantinos is the head of the corporate department at the law office of Phoebus, Christos Clerides & Associates. His role includes drafting and reviewing complex commercial and business agreements, trust deeds, joint venture agreements and various other commercial contracts.

In addition, he acts as a mentor to his department and takes an active role in the education of his colleagues.
