Wealth Management is a heavily regulated activity which is bound by strict regulatory and technical standards. The purpose of this workshop is to explore the regulatory requirements and their implementation in the day to day business of a regulated Cyprus Investment Firm.

The purpose of this workshop is to explore the regulatory requirements and their implementation in the day to day business of a regulated Cyprus Investment Firm.

We will be offering practical examples of challenges such firms face and the best way to solve these challenges. We will also touch upon the different type of asset classes and their specifics and how each asset type affects the regulatory framework.

Trainers

Kyriakos Christofides is the General Manager of Think Wealth Limited, holder of aBA in Business / Finance, an L.LB. Bachelor of Laws and the Advanced Certificate from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. Kyriakos is a lecturer at KES College Cyprus for International Business Law. Kyriakos' past experience extends to super national corporations in the oil and gas industry, alternative investment funds and Regulated entities under the Cyprus regulatory framework. Being heavily involved in regulatory compliance in different jurisdictions, has helped him develop an inquisitive and proactive approach for all compliance matters and provision of investment services.   

Sara Eojourian is the Managing Director of Think Wealth Limited. Prior to the creation of Think Wealth Sara looked after Ultra and High Net Worth Individual Clients both at Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division in London and at Bank of Cyprus’ Private Banking division in Nicosia. She also has experience in sales through Cognolink, a primary research firm whose clients were mainly private equity fund managers looking for primary research before making their investment decisions. Sara studied Business Management at King’s College London, University of London and also holds a Master’s Degree in Shipping Trade and Finance from Cass Business School. Sara speaks fluent Greek, English, Armenian and has a basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
