ΠΕΡΙΣΣΟΤΕΡΕΣ ΠΛΗΡΟΦΟΡΙΕΣ

This course teaches IT Professionals how to manage their Azure subscriptions, secure identities, administer the infrastructure, configure virtual networking, connect Azure and on-premises sites, manage network traffic, implement storage solutions, create and scale virtual machines, implement web apps and containers, back up and share data, and monitor your solution. The content of the course align to the AZ-104 exam objective domain.

This course is for Azure Administrators. The Azure Administrator implements, manages, and monitors identity, governance, storage, compute, and virtual networks in a cloud environment. The Azure Administrator will provision, size, monitor, and adjust resources as appropriate.

Prerequisites

Successful Azure Administrators start this role with experience in virtualization, networking, identity, and storage.

1. Understanding on-premises virtualization technologies, including: VMs, virtual networking, and virtual hard disks.
2. Understanding network configurations, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and encryption technologies.
3. Understanding Active Directory concepts, including users, groups, and role-based access control.
4. Understanding resilience and disaster recovery, including backup and restore operations. 

Azure Administration for AWS SysOps (16 Hours)

The audience for this course is an AWS Sysops Administrator Associate or equivalent. This person has one to two years of experience in AWS deployment, management, and operations. Students taking this course are interested in learning how Azure is different from AWS, and how Azure is administered. Students may also be interested in taking the AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator certification exam, or the AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals exam.

Prerequisites

Successful AWS Sysops start this course with experience in operating systems, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage structures, identity solutions, and networking. Specifically, students should have:

1. A working knowledge of how to construct CLI commands, including using the help pages to determine appropriate parameters and command structure.
2. Understanding of virtual network concepts, Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, gateways, and encryption technologies.
3. Understanding of virtual machines, how they are used, and configuration options like CPU performance and disks.
4. Understanding virtual storage concepts such as storage accounts, blobs, file shares, and disk types.
5. Understanding of governance concepts, including role-based access control, identity management, and identity protection.
