The purpose of this workshop is to help organisations understand further the value of analytics for their business growth and to also understand how they can build the capability for analytics in their own organisation.
- The seminar which has a duration of 2 days, 13th and 14th of December, will take place at the premises of PwC's Academy - Nicosia.
- After completion of the seminar, we will visit you at your premises for a 3.5 hour one-to-one session to recommend specific actions and implementation steps for your own organisation around the topics discussed.

The seminar is targeted towards senior executives such as Business Managers/General Managers, IT and Data Analytics Managers, Chief Information Officers , Chief Financial Officers, Chief Marketing Officers and Managers with roles in Digital Transformation/Strategy/ Marketing/ Operation who aim at strategic and commercial development of their organisation through optimising their organisation’s Business Analytics capabilities.

Day one: 13 December
- Burning Platform: The need for Data Analytics.
- Analytics Maturity Levels and Assessment.
- Setting the Scene: Understanding Analytics, Business Intelligence and other key terms.
- Operationalising Analytics in your organisation: Infrastructure, Integration, Data/Information, Analysis and Visualisation.
- Demonstration of tools and successful operational models.
Day two: 14 December
- How analytics can be linked with business growth.
- Understanding and assessing the potential business value: Efficiency, Effectiveness, Customer Satisfaction and Business Performance.
- Approaches for building Data Analytics Capabilities and dealing with barriers and challenges within your organisation.
- Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and their role in your organisation.
- Action planning including use cases and success stories.
Instructor
Monica Odysseos
Monica is an Assistant Manager in Technology Consulting at PwC working together with the Data and Artificial Intelligence Lab (DAIL). She is a Data Analytics, Big Data and AI expert with 10 years of experience both in the UK and Cyprus in the development and integration of Data Analytics solutions for organizations, across industries. She holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Bath, an MSc in Risk Management from the University of Southampton and is a qualified chartered accountant (ACA - ICAEW).
Monica’s areas of expertise include all elements of Data Analytics, including data management and quality assessment, data analytics strategy development and software engineering. Within PwC she additionally holds the role of facilitator and trainer of the Data Analytics Innovation Academy, teaching digital transformation tools to non-technical individuals.
