A homage to entrepreneurship in all its different facets, magnitudes and forms, Inspire 2024 does just what it says on the tin: it inspires people of all ages and backgrounds to persevere in their pursuit of entrepreneurial success. With tens of parallel events for audiences from 15 to 95, the festival will awaken the centre of Nicosia, bringing entrepreneurs’ stories, masterclasses, parties, music and street food to people from all over Cyprus in a unique ambience of celebration and inspiration.
With multiple different stages running in parallel, all within walking distance, the festival will hold a multitude of interactive events from interviews, panels and fireside chats to live podcasts and relaxed chats over cocktails and will welcome more than 3000 people to enjoy its festive atmosphere.

The Festival will take place in the heart of Nicosia, bringing to life many of its landmark locations on and around Makarios Avenue, for a series of multifaceted, exciting events, all centered around entrepreneurship.
The Festival will host:
Accomplished entrepreneurs from all over Cyprus, of all ages and from a variety of sectors. Each of them will share the story of their entrepreneurial journey, the barriers, the pitfalls, the lessons learnt, the breakthroughs that made them who they are today.
Renowned entrepreneurs from abroad, who will share their insights on what success looks like and how it can be achieved.
Aspiring entrepreneurs of all ages, from teenagers to mature adults, all wishing to explore the idea of entrepreneurship and to be inspired to take the leap from dreaming to doing.
The Festival will include:
Masterclasses tailored to different groups of people, from kids to successful professionals, on the key principles of entrepreneurship and how these can be leveraged to run a successful business.
Talks, presentations and interactive workshops on the key skills needed to set up and run a successful business.
Parties, music, street food and a relaxed atmosphere in which people of different ages and backgrounds can mingle, learn from each other and be inspired.

Speakers & Performers
Born in Limassol, Tasos Tryfonos studied Communication & Media at Panteion University in Athens. Early in his career, he worked for various magazines, newspapers, and television shows. Notably, he worked at IMACO publications under Petros Kostopoulos, Lyberis publications, Minos EMI record company as a public relations officer, and the shows "Katse Kala" on ANT1 with Anna Drouza, Fotis Sergoulopoulos, and Maria Bakodimou, and "PRIVE" on Mega Channel with Elena Katritsi, initially as a reporter and later as a show consultant. In 2003, he started in the morning slot of LOVE RADIO 97.5 in Athens with Eleni Manousaki. In 2005, he took over as the station director until 2012, and from 2008 onwards, he hosted an afternoon radio show with Margarita Droutsa. In the summer of 2012, he returned to Cyprus to take an executive position at the SPP MEDIA group and simultaneously created and hosted the talk show "Tet-A-Tet" on the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation. The show was awarded for two consecutive years as the favourite talk show on Cypriot television, hosting significant personalities from Greece and Cyprus, and is now aired on Alpha Cyprus by Tryfonos. In 2017, he began presenting the game show "The Weakest Link" on RIK, which achieved great success and was broadcast daily for three seasons. In 2019, he also started presenting the same game show in Greece on SKAI, becoming the first host worldwide to present this particular game show simultaneously in two countries. During 2022-2023, he presented it daily on ERT1. Since September 2020, he has been part of the Alpha Cyprus team, successfully presenting the quiz shows "The Chase" and "Tipping Point." Since June 2012, he has co-hosted the daily morning radio show on LOVE FM 100.7 with actor and screenwriter Christiana Artemiou. He is also the station's director.
Giorgos Hatzipavlou has been professionally involved in stand-up comedy since 2007. His first contact with the genre was in 2001 at Comedy Nights, and a few years later, he resigned from the advertising company where he worked as a head copywriter to dedicate himself exclusively to stand-up comedy. He was the first to permanently house stand-up comedy shows in a theater in Greece. In 2014, he created Stand up for U, a comedy institution that supports charitable actions. Besides his solo performances, he has collaborated on shows and tours in Greece with English comedians and comedians from the Comedy Store. Since 2016, he has created the Comedy Club for Kids, the only Greek stand-up comedy show for children aged 6 to 12 years. In 2015, he became the first Greek stand-up comedian to have a solo show broadcast on Greek television (“Things Are Tough” – Alpha TV). In November 2017, October 2019, and February 2024, he conducted the largest tours of Greek-language stand-up comedy outside Greece, with sold-out shows in London, Manchester, Dubai, Ed[1]inburgh, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Berlin, Stuttgart, Munich, Brussels, Oslo, Vienna, Zurich, Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Malta, The Hague, Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, Cologne, Geneva, Bristol, Birmingham, and Glasgow. He has written and presented satirical shows on television, radio, and the internet. From 2014 to 2023, his artistic base in Athens was the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. In 2024, he presented the show “The Elephant in the Room” at the Athens Concert Hall.
Karolina Pelendritou was born in Limassol in 1986. She has been involved in swimming since childhood. At the age of 15, she was a member of the National Team and competed in the Games of the Small States of Europe in 2001 and the Commonwealth Games in 2002. That same year, she swam for the first time as a para-athlete after already experiencing vision problems. She participated in five Paralympic Games from 'Athens 2004' to 'Tokyo 2020,' winning a total of six medals, three of which were gold! She has won 13 medals in World Championships and 7 in European Championships. She is a member of the Athletes' Council of the European Paralympic Committee (EPC). She has been actively involved in promoting equality in sports and society and advocating for the rights of people with disabilities.
Louis Patsalides is a popular and acclaimed Cypriot stand-up comedian, television presenter of the Louis Night Show and radio host.
Pan Dragomir is an influencer and content creator with a great social media following, as well as a popular radio host. Pan also takes part in the Louis Night Show with Louis Patsalides
Alexander Naydenov is the Head of Sales of Hygraph, a leading enterprise content management company. Hygraph powers the websites and applications of global brands such as Samsung, Bandai Namco, and Dr. Oetker. Previously, Alex co-founded the science communication startup PaperHive and was awarded a place in the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list.
He is also a co-founder and was for years the chairman of social entrepreneurship incubator “United Ideas”. Alex helped start over a dozen non-profit organizations and over 20 social initiatives and businesses
Joanna Patsalis, born in the US and raised in Cyprus, developed an early fascination with technology and its transformative potential. She studied Management in the UK and moved to New York in 2014, where she worked in Operations, Supply Chain, and IT while pursuing an MBA at NYU Stern. Joining FedTech, Joanna connected with the Army Research Lab, inspiring her to launch Direct Kinetic Solutions (DKS) in 2019. DKS focuses on revolutionizing the energy sector using radioisotopic power sources combining the persistence of a power plant. With the convenience and mobility of a battery. DKS has secured significant government contracts and secured their first round of private investments. The company has won awards with NASA, the National Science Foundation, the US Air Force, and more. DKS was most recently awarded the Tactical Funding Increase (TACFI), maximizing the award with $1.9 million from the AFVentures program with a match from private investments to scale manufacturing capabilities and innovate with new technologies. Joanna’s achievements include winning the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Energy and expanding DKS to include a radiation laboratory in Tennessee and an Engineering Hub in Maryland. Joanna continues to expand her impact, participating in various female organizations and events to break the barriers and promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the tech industry.
Jack Bennet is a serial entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of Coddies, a very distinctive fish themed footwear brand launched in 2018. Jack’s entrepreneurial journey began at age 13 with a rare breeds chicken business. He has since founded multiple ventures, including Oscar’s Chicks, a popular animal content platform. Recognised on Forbes 30 Under 30 for Retail & Ecommerce, Jack is dedicated to innovation and creativity in business. His passion for building new ventures from scratch has driven Coddies’ revenues to over $2 million annually and is virally known for its unusual and fun products. Jack actively mentors young entrepreneurs and contributes to the entrepreneurial community.
Leanne made the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2023 for Finance as well as becoming the former CEO of a fintech after just two years in the industry. She has won multiple awards with her entrepreneurship including with ITV and the Women in IT awards as well as gaining accolades in the press such as one of Britain’s Top 5 Entrepreneurs, and winning the coveted Rising Women In Crypto Award with Wirex. Having scaled businesses in fitness, health, automotive, motorsport and fintech; Leanne has now co-founded Signet Consultancy to help other businesses with their conception, growth and longevity.

Stelios is a self-made entrepreneur. He started his company, Mellona from scratch about 15 years ago at the family’s farm in Fasouri, Limassol. Mellona produces innovative natural specialties out of raw honey. At the time he was working in every department of the company, from production to distribution, since he was the only employee! Today his company operates in its own, 1500m2 modern facility and sells its unique products to over 10 countries in the EU and beyond. Stelios is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business, he is married, and the father of three boys.
Yiannis Hadjiconstantouras is a passionate entrepreneur driven by a singular vision: to nurture businesses that prioritize their employees’ well-being. His academic journey includes studies in Business and Marketing at the University of Cyprus and further specialization in Entrepreneurship at the University of Nottingham. Maria Lavithi Howard is the founder and CEO of Heroes Made, a Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) platform for primary education. With a background in business development and creative writing, Maria studied and worked in the United States before returning to Cyprus a decade ago. Her mission is to offer educators a zero-preparation, comprehensive SEL approach. Marianna Prokopi-Demetriades, is a biotech innovator, entrepreneur, and Clinical Associate Professor in Research Oncology. She has co-founded three biotech companies: RSL Revolutionary Labs Ltd, which develops dermaceuticals for cancer treatment side effects; Promed Bioscience Ltd, leading in the development of biomaterials for tissue regeneretion; and Theramir Ltd, which offers precise cancer treatments through nanotechnology and microRNAs. Dr. Prokopi-Demetriades is a TEDx Speaker and celebrated for her significant contributions to STEM and biotechnology, including receiving the Forbes 20WomenInTech Award Cyprus 2023, the King’s Distinguished Alumni Award London 2022 and other prestigious accolades. Her strategic leadership is instrumental in creating a new biotech hub in Limassol, and she actively mentors emerging talents in various prestigious boards and programs.
