Re-domiciliation is the process of transferring a company's domicile from one jurisdiction to another. In the case of Cyprus, re-domiciliation refers to the process of transferring a foreign company's domicile to Cyprus.

The re-domiciliation process in Cyprus is governed by the Companies (Transfer of Registered Office) Law of 2007, which allows companies to redomicile to Cyprus from any other jurisdiction, and also allows Cypriot companies to transfer their domicile to other jurisdictions

This course looks at the key issues the problems that need to be addressed, and th drafting skills involved concerning the re-domiciliation of companies in and  out of Cyprus. The course will be interactive, based on realistic case studies, and incorporating  specific drafting suggestions and precedents. You will be guided on the meaning, legal implications, and significance of the Law regarding the process of transferring a company’s headquarters inside and outside the  Republic of Cyprus. You will be provided with specimens such as special resolutions, newspaper announcements, Board resolutions, etc. You will gain expert knowledge enable you to improve your knowledge and  understanding redomiciliation process by engaging with key issues.
