Environmental criteria consider how a company performs as a steward of nature. Social criteria examine how it manages relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and the communities where it operates.

Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria are an increasingly popular way for investors to  avoid companies that might pose a greater financial risk due to their environmental or other practices.

Globaltraining is offering a 5-hour seminar demonstrating the prospects, threats and opportunities that this new approach poses for enterprises in all economic sectors. The aim of this seminar is to present the main aspects of the European Green Deal, to delve into the important role of the financial sector towards the transition to a sustainable economy and examine the EU Taxonomy disclosure requirements under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.

At the end of this seminar, participants will be in position to describe the key issues of Green and Sustainable Finance, present the European Green Deal, analyze the risks and opportunities and provide an overview of the EU Taxonomy and its basic principles.
