ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ

Η τεχνική γνώση των εφαρμογών, δυνατοτήτων και περιορισμών των έξυπνων συμβολαίων καθίσταται επιτακτική εν όψει υφιστάμενων και επικείμενων Ευρωπαϊκών (MiCA - Markets in crypto-assets regulation) και εθνικών κανονισμών (Νομοσχέδιο με τίτλο «Ο περί Τεχνολογίας Κατανεμημένου Καθολικού Νόμος του 2021», CySEC Directive for the register of crypto asset services (CASP) providers) που σχετίζονται με τις εν λόγω τεχνολογίες, και εν όψει της χρήσης των τεχνολογιών αυτών ως αποτέλεσμα τεχνολογικού εκσυγχρονισμού σε διάφορους τομείς επιχειρήσεων.

ΣΚΟΠΟΣ ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟΥ

Σκοπός του προγράμματος είναι η αναβάθμιση των γνώσεων και δεξιοτήτων των συμμετεχόντων που θα κληθούν να παρέχουν εξειδικευμένες συμβουλές ή/και υπηρεσίες σε θέματα που άπτονται νομικής, λογιστικής ή επιχειρηματικής φύσεως που όμως ταυτόχρονα εμπεριέχουν αναδυόμενες τεχνολογίες όπως τα έξυπνα συμβόλαια και το blockchain.

ΣΕ ΠΟΙΟΥΣ ΑΠΕΥΘΥΝΕΤΑΙ

Το πρόγραμμα απευθύνεται σε δικηγόρους, λογιστές, εργαζόμενους και διευθυντικά στελέχη επιχειρήσεων και οργανισμών οι οποίοι χρειάζεται να γνωρίζουν καινοτόμες τεχνολογίες όπως το blockchain και τα έξυπνα συμβόλαια. Η υφιστάμενη ή η μελλοντική φύση της εργασία τους θα πρέπει να σχετίζεται με την παροχή εξειδικευμένων συμβουλευτικών ή άλλων υπηρεσιών σε θέματα νομικής, τεχνολογίας, λογιστικής ή/και επιχειρηματικότητας.

Το πρόγραμμα είναι εγκεκριμένο από την ΑνΑΔ και αντιστοιχεί με 8 μονάδες συνεχούς επαγγελματικής ανάπτυξης

Εκπαιδευτής Προγράμματος: Δρ. Κυριάκος Παύλου

Dr. Kyriacos (Kyri) Pavlou is a researcher and lecturer in Database Design, Security and Blockchain Technologies. He holds a MA (Cantab) in Genetics from the University of Cambridge and a double BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Arizona. He completed his PhD on Database Forensics and Information Accountability at the University of Arizona. He has also worked as a postdoctoral research associate in the Computer Science department of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

He has served as manager and chief programmer on several NSF-funded projects. His research interests include database security, information accountability, and blockchain technologies.

Dr. Pavlou currently serves as the Director of Electi Academy the Executive Education department at Electi Consulting. He has served as a member of the Republic of Cyprus blockchain working group tasked with the formulation of the country’s national strategy on blockchain. As Electi Academy's director he has organized and delivered training and consulting services to international and local organizations such as the European Central Bank (SSM), MDRxTECH (Mishcon de Reya Group) in London, MSC Shipmanagement, Lloyd's Maritime Academy and Vassiliko Cement Works.

Εκπαιδεύτρια Προγράμματος: Andri Michael

Andri Michael is a lawyer, partner at Kinanis LLC. She has joined the firm in 2005 and her main areas of practice, for over 10 years, included corporate law, banking and finance, funds and capital markets. For the past few years, Andri has been leading the Financial Services and Funds department of Kinanis LLC focusing mainly on legal advisory, formation and regulatory compliance for collective investment structures and other licensed entities. She also specialises on legal advice and support for international clients for listings on capital markets as well as on legal consulting for blockchain matters. Andri holds an Undergraduate (LL. B) and Postgraduate Degree in Law (LL.M) from the University of Southampton, UK and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2004. 

She is also a holder of a Professional Certificate of the University of Nicosia, Cyprus on Blockchain Law, Regulation and Policy and a holder of the advanced diploma of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
