ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
The creation of this specific training programme stems from the need for businesses to recognise and maintain essential knowledge on Sustainable Development issues in a dynamic and highly competitive environment.
Businesses in Cyprus are called upon to operate in a more complex global environment, with responsibilities extending beyond the production of goods or services to corporate governance. Such successful understanding and implementation are now closely tied to their ability to raise capital, be considered adequate, and grow.
Specifically, companies face increasing pressure to report on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) matters. ESG involves disclosing information related to companies’ operations in three areas: the environment, society, and corporate governance.
The programme aims to assist businesses in acquiring a more robust and contemporary corporate structure and promoting proper corporate governance based on ESG parameters and sustainable development as essential elements for their business growth in the modern competitive environment.
