Companies often deal with projects that need to be delivered before a specific date, within a budget and satisfying specific quality objectives.

The Project Management Institute (PMI) sponsors a project management certification, the purpose and goal of which is the development, maintenance, evaluation, promotion and administration of a rigorous, examination based, professional certification credential of the highest caliber – the Project Management Professional (PMP).

The PMP program supports the international community of Project Management Professionals and is designed to objectively assess and measure professional knowledge. This accreditation is one of the most sought after and prestigious Project Management accreditations in the world.

This 5 day project management course is based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide to managing projects. (PMI is the author and owner of the PMBOK Guide titled “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge – 4th Edition”).

This is primarily a practical course illustrating how to apply PMI Principles to real projects. The course develops participant competences to be used in all phases of project life cycle. At the same time the course provides in depth knowledge on different project management processes and how these should be treated for successful implementation of project planning and delivery.
