This course equips students with the expertise to prepare financial statements for single limited companies and consolidated statements for corporate groups. It focuses on developing a proficient understanding of international accounting standards, which students will apply in drafting these financial statements. Additionally, students will gain a solid grasp of the regulatory and conceptual frameworks that support the preparation of these documents.
Upon completing this course, students will be capable of independently drafting financial statements for single limited companies and corporate groups. They will also learn to use tools and techniques for analyzing and interpreting these financial statements through ratio analysis. This skill will aid external user groups in decision-making and allow students to contribute effectively within an accounting team.
